Has anyone ever used sleeping pills to fall asleep and noticed it impacting their LD's positively or negatively?

Nope, my friend told me today he stole some of his moms "ambian" or however its spelled.
He said if you take 3 then stay up for like 4hours you doze into the most incredible dreams.
He dosnt know much about LDing but maybe this could be a great avenue for wilding?
Im thinking about getting of the one "non perscription" pills that there was a big post about a few days about.
I forgot what it was called.

I tried two ambien pills once, and stayed up for a while. Having no previous experince with drugs, it was incredible. Reality seemed like a lucid dream, and I felt as though everything had something to say to me. I stood in the bathroom and listened to the water faucet run. It felt as though I was completely insane, and I think insanity is a good thing to experince, as least once.

      EDIT: it was ambien CR
