      1) When I am putting my body in sleep paralysis i have very short dreams that pop into my head. Is this normal?
      2) I once had a feeling put on my head where it went totally numb and I woke back up in my dream-room. I think it was a lucid dream, but very short and I don't know how to tell. Was it a lucid dream?
      3) I had a stuffy nose and a mild cold last night and tried to lucid dream. I layed there for a couple of hours and only had some vague normal dreams. Was that why I didn't even get close to a lucid dream like the night before? (#2)

      Method:
      sleeping for 5 hrs
wake up for 1hr, play mind games drink caffinated tea, do the dishes.
go back to sleep to start WILDing.

      any suggestions?

      1) These are Hypnagogic hallucinations, and they are normal, which often happen during the transition to sleep, and during SP.
      2) If you knew that you are dreaming, then it was a lucid dream.
      3) Actualy, you did get close to a lucid dream. If you experience SP and Hipnogogic halucinations, then you are very close at success with the WILD, and just need to stay a calm little longer during the Hypnagogic hallucinations, and you will enter a lucid dream.
