Aight, my first WILD, if I don't count the FILD's.

I had my first 'regular' WILD yesterday and I must say, it felt pretty much like a FILD (finger-induced). The transition from the waking state to the dreaming state was fast but gentle. While staying focused, I slipped away into a lucid dream. There where no side affects like sounds or light flashes.

So it's just me in the darkness. But I just new I was lucid because it was the same feeling that I get from a FILD. That means that I no longer need the finger movement, or maybe I was lucky to stay concentrated at that moment.

What I'm trying to say is that the FILD is probably a (hargarts) version of WILD. Or is there any real WILD version? You got the count-the-breathings version and the HI-version, right? And some other versions. Or are these techniques all versions of WBTB?

So many of our problems persist because we see them in only one way and keep beating our head against the same wall

I really wish i could FILD, Lol iv been getting so little sleep latily that i keep turning my alarm clock off without knowing it and going back to sleep.
Or it scares the hell out of my and im too awake.
-How long into sleep do you set your alarm to FILD?
-Do you time it to REM periods or do you just set it for when your most tired.
-I dont see how you would go into a dream unless your falling asleep into REM, if your just falling asleep into theta sleep or somthing you would just get knocked out...right?....or?
-Also how long do your FILD's normally last?
      -Sorry for the 21questions lol.
