Weird Dream with Physical Results / Past Lucid Dream

Hey.. this is a kind of stupid dream, but the after effect was kind of weird and I was just wondering if anyone knew what was going on.

I guess i've been playing halo (on the xbox) too much because I had a dream about it.. and i was dodging some ghosts (vehicles) and i ducked under one, and then one of the vehicles stopped right on top of me, and then slowly lowered down, and apparently crushed me.

I instantly woke up and, this is the weird part.. it seriously felt like something was on my chest, sort of pushing down on it, not really hurting me, but just enough to positively know something was there (as if the "vehicle" type thing was laying on me like in the dream) .. this lasted for about 3 seconds, and then it stopped, and all was well.

Anyone ever had a dream like that? If so, what exactly happened.

I've also been studying lucid dreaming lately.. been reading up on it, havent had one so far before reading the book..

But i can recall.. maybe 3 years back.. i definetely had a lucid dream. But it was more like a nightmare. I was fully aware that I was dreaming, but I guess something was coming after me, at a pretty slow pace, or i was in a building or something.. and I was scared, and I, in my dream, basically forced myself to wake up.. I did this by rolling my eyes to the back of my head, or as far as I could in my dream.. It was hard, and I could barely move and felt like I was out of energy, but after a few seconds it passed and i awoke.. this happened like 2 times I can remember..

I was young though, and didnt know anytinhg about lucid dreaming

and i havent had one since..

but what do you guys think about these two dreams? I'm curious on what was going on..

      thanks

Yeah, I had a dream where I got stabbed in the back with a sword, and when I woke up, I still felt it for a few minutes.

I also had a dream where I had bugs crawling on me, and when I woke up, I could still feel them. I was POSITIVE they were there on me, and had to look at my arms to make sure that they weren't.

I think when I wake up and this happens, I'm not fully awake and a part of me thinks it might still be a dream.

I guess that the best way to describe this feeling is to quote my good friend Morpheus:

literally, your brain is being sent electrical information to simulate pain, i can understand how those effects can linger, even though its never happened to me

So the pain in dreams are as real as the ones in reality?

i would say so, but i cant speak from experience. i think in my next lucid dream im gonna jab some nose-clippers into my leg to test it out. something tells me its a bad idea though...

It may or may not be...it depends

Also it should be completely different in LD, where one knows he is dreaming and it is not real, in contrast to a real dream, where one mistakes that for reality...
