LOL!! It has never occured to me to go to the bathroom while lucid!

I'm almost tempted to try it and see.. but then again it might seem too real and I'd wet the bed (I can see trying to explain THAT to my husband)!!

To my knowledge, every time I have had the urge to relieve myself in a dream it's because I really have to go so, I wake up and go. I've always been afraid to even try to urinate in a dream. I just know I'll wake up to a soaked mattress.

I've gone a couple of times that I can remember in non-LDs. It seems like the stream never ends--I just keeping pissing until I wake up. Fortunately I've never awaken to a soaked matress; I suppose because of sleep paralysis.

Near the beginning of an LD marathon last night (first time I've ever been able to use the word "marathon" with respect to LDing. It was great&#33 I found myself in my bathroom. This thread topic came to mind and I figured since I know I'm dreaming and can feel that my physical body has to piss I'll give it a try. Hopefully, my body can distinguish that my intention to lucidly piss does not imply my desire to wet my bed. This being my first ever attempt to pee in a dream (usually I awaken to visit the pot), I was a bit concerned but I let it flow.

As Lucky27 said, when I did so, it really felt as though I were taking a piss but the stream just kept coming and coming. It's like it would never end. I took that to mean that I was not wetting the bed after all - thank goodness. Apparently, the physical bodily feeling of still having to relieve myself is the reason the dream piss never ended. I felt no physical relief, only the sensation of urination, along with the sound and sight of the stream hitting the toilet water.

I finally gave up - since I was getting no actual relief - and cut off the urine stream. "I have other things to do", I said. "No time for an eternal piss!" I felt like "Ogre" from "Revenge of the Nerds" when he took his extremely long piss. At least he got relief in the end.

anyways, yeah, i've taken a leak in a sink one time... i dont really know why though... it was long before i knew much about this other than what common sense told me, so i cant say how lucid i was, but i'll have you know that i wouldnt be pissing in the sink if i thought i were awake, that's for sure v,,

Nah you dont piss your pants I also did it in an LD a few times, but only when my body actually had to. I dont think you have to be scared, after all, having an orgasm in a dream hardly ever triggers you know what in your bed either

It isn't true, at least not for me, that if you go to the toilet in a dream you actually piss yourself. As a kid perhaps, but sometimes I piss in dreams, no problems.

I for one always begin to piss myself if I'm going in a dream. Theres nothing worse than pissing on your friends friends couch and having to make up an excuse as to why you need to leave extremely early in the morning. Anyone brave enough to take a shit in a lucid dream? lol I'd wear a diaper if I was you.

Yea even if I do piss in a dream I don't wet myself in real life, that hasn't happened since I was 3 or 4. I think if you don't currently wet yourself at night you should be safe to go in a dream.
