      Here is my story.

I had my first lucid moment 3 days after i visited Dreamviews for the first time (three months ago) but it lasted just 0.5 sec. Just enough to realise that maybe i am dreaming. I did a RC and it failed and than it all just faded away. My lucidity level was 2 out of 10. So my first "lucid" moment was not worth remembering...

Since than i tried to do some WILDs and MILDs with almost no success (achieved some SP + some mild HI with my WILDSs but i never really had any real LDs). For last two weeks i havent tried at all to have a lucid dreams.

And now comes the weird part.

      -Monday Minipremiere:

It all changed this monday (5. 3. 07). I had an afternoon nap and i died in my dreams. (i drowned aftter falling from 150 meters tall bridge). Normally i wake up right after death, but this time there was like 5 seconds of total darkness right after death and in these 5 second i realised that i am dreaming) Then i woke up. I was still in SP and i know i could WILD extremely easily if only my right leg would not be positioned so weird. It started to hurt me and i gave up WILDing, since the pain was to intense.

      -Wednesday Show

On wednesday i had my first true DILD. Becouse of some strange incident i realised i am dreaming. I did a RC (the nose one) and it worked. I was like: OMG I AM REALLY DREAMING... than the picture went black. I remembered the spinning technique. I tried it and it worked beautifly. The picture came back and in front of me there was a map. My lucidity level was about 5 of 10 so i tried to go to normal landscape through the map and didnt realised that i could spin again or imagine a door to change the scene... Anyway this LD lasted about 20-30 seconds (huge progress compared to the first time) Than i woke up all amazed and optimistic about my LD capabilities.

      -Friday Finale

Again, i realised i am dreaming (exsacty when some girl was giving me a bl..job lol)
i wanted to make a RC to be sure but when i plugged my nose, i was already awake (so obviously the RC failed ) The important thing was that there was no obvious indicator becouse of which i would realise i am dreaming. I just knew im dreaming.

Maybe its to soon to make conclusions but it looks like my LD abilities are evolving extremely fast since i had 3 LD incidents in 5 days...
I can almost feel that next week i will also have some LD also... and i dont complain at all
So i ask some experienced LDers if anyone had similar experiences? What do you think is happening to me?

      Thanks for replies.

Your dying in your dream is interesting, though. Not that it's all that uncommon (though it's not super common either). I say that because - in general - people are extremely afraid of dying in a dream. A lot of people are afraid that if they die in their dream they may do so in actuality. It's always made me wonder how many people have died in their sleep with an accompanying dream of dying (perhaps because the mind knows it's on its way out)? We'll never know.

I don't mean to scare anyone, however, because dying in a dream is often followed by some sort of symbolic rebirth in the dream and is nothing to be afraid of.

As far as what's happening goes, I'd say your possibly becoming more aware of your surroundings in waking life. In any case, you're making progress so you can't knock it.

Keep up the good work and you'll get your shot at full lucidity in no time. You're doing something right.
