Has anyone visited Hell in a dream?

I visited hell once in a dream. It was sort of like a mall, but with no windows, and it just looped in circles, and the colors were kind of drab. There was this one area I remember, in which this metal bars arranged in double helixes (kind of like something you'd see on a play ground. it was covered in vines, and green serpets were crawling on it. If you touched it, the serpents would bite you and you would be paralysed. After wandering for awhile, one of the walls opened up and revealed this huge desert area with all this people sitting on the ground and and couple of concrete buildings in the distance, I wandered over to the buildings and went inside. There were some people in there and a bunch of radio equipment. Then I looked outside one of the windows in the building to see a space ship taking offf. That's all I can remember. Anyway, has anyone else visited hell in a dream?

Well...I once became Smith in a lucid dream. He would easily kick any necromancer's ass.....HAHA!!! I WIN WERBURN!!!!!! Anyway, I don't remember ever visiting hell in a dream, but once I was present during the apocalipsis...

Hahaha... indeed!! I guess you're concept of hell relies on your belief system. My view of hell would be vastly different since..well..I dont believe it exists as society believes traditionally. I'll try this sometime see what I come up with

I think it could be a healthy experience...to dream of going down to hell and totally changing your outlook of it to be less threatening...Haha, Shadow...yes, you remind me of may days playing Diablo...

I had a dream about Hell recently. It was this very strange place where children were mutilated and some adults also. There were fires, missles bombs and radiation everywhere, and right around the corner, there were these people fighting and killing each other over money, and people were dying from all types of diseases and the enviornment was unstabled and producing strange weather patterns spinning off tornados and hurricanes and they were killing thousands of people and death, death, death, was lurking everywhere. I remember another time I visited hell in a dream... It was this small section of caverns with a purple ooze on the ground that burnt emmensley if you stood on it, and you pretty much had to because there was little room elseware. It reminded me of a level from Doom II. Anyway, I was eventually freed by this group of people, and I went up this huge mechanical elevator to this city in the clouds (heaven?)

I have had a few dreams where I felt like I was in an endless void. In fact Last night 5/11/04 I had a dream where there were vortexes that seemed entising to go into. My friend kept telling me not to. I started to go into one, it started to pull me in I had an imense feeling of dispair and lonliness. One in Which I do not feel I have expierianced in real life. Which makes it very intrigueing that your mind can duplicate an emotion that you have not relished yourself.
