      How many Levels?

Although this can most likely not be proven. I would like to know how many levels of Lucidity that most of you think there are.
Through my experiences, I have had Lucid dreams from where I am totally aware to the point I can barely call it a Lucid dream. High level low level and everything inbetween.

If I had to pick a number I would say 5. But how many more levels? I not know. Many?!?

I believe lucidity to be very closely co-related with self-realization, which is an endless journey of providence.

I believe this because of how lucidity within my dreams has developed my entire life and seems as perplexing and rapidly changing as life is. In order to understand my dreams, it precipitated further understanding of myself and my life, which always further developed my self-realization..

I am a natural lucid dreamer since my toddler years.. maybe if differs from those who are learning it later in life?

When thinking about it, I always used percentage system.

Like in that LD I had 25% of my waking mind active. In that LD I had full 50% and so on...

But I used it only for convinience, there's infinite number of shades of lucidity

Actually to my recollection I've always believed it to be only 3 levels.

Low-Level Lucidity- This level is having a portion of your awareness but not fully. Which means that your subconscious is still drawing up the blueprint for your dream without your coherent consent. This level although is low I believe everyone in life will experience this level at least once in a life time.

High-Level Lucidity). This is High Level but you will never have full control over the entire dream content in this level. But just enough to have fun.

Super-Lucidity- Now this Level is the Level where everything is under your complete control. No interuptions from misscommunicated advances from the sub-conscious. You don't even have to have such a strong belief in what you can do. Even with doubt it is extremely easy to overcome certain objectives in this level oppossed to High. The clarity of this dream level is unreal so real that it makes the waking world seem like a dream joke and thats why it's not easy to maintain once you do achieve such a level. You are enraptured by the realness that you forget. This Level is only achieved through WILD's. Master the WILD technique and you'll get a taste of it for sure.

Infinite levels, life is analog, not digital.

Now, are these levels linear or exponential, or logrithmatic?
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

Heh, you never had any basic math in school or something? Its like, there's this formula, represented as a line, and its starts out nice and curved and for example it goes up, and then more up and then suddenly its all like WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEE all crazy upwards n stuff.

I like Evs Discription of the different levels - shades. I think it fits well.
There has to be a limit. your mind is a lot different than space. It has boundaries. Even if we have not found several of them there must still be limits.
ShadowNightwing has a point about the three basic levels to be catergorized in but they can be described at such differant levels and so many ways that I don't think three does it justice.
Like Democrat - Republican - Independent. There are so many variations of the three.

Lol that sounds more like an asymptote then a log curve.

Hey good point. The whole thing is subjective. But for the more analytical, I believe there are four levels. Low, Medium, High, and Perfect.

Although I seem to be the sole supporter of my theory, I believe to be one level of lucidity - and I shall name that 'lucidity' - a state of being aware that one is dreaming.

It's like music - rock is of great value, country and pop is of negligible value, but it's music all the same.

We shouldn't let different qualities and circumstances stand in the way of a great definition such as this.

Well that does certainly make things less complicated.

And the less complex means the less you are questioning things. (Question everything!)
