I am new, this is my story:

Hey everyone. I've been reading these forums for awhile and really like this vibe. When I was 13, I was very smart and used to lucid dream every night. (Although I had no idea that there was such a thing as lucid dreaming). I realized I was dreaming every night.

I am 18 now and am getting back into lucid dreaming. I have had some successes in the previous months and this website is greatly improving my ability to lucid dream.

Last night I had an interesting dream that I thought I should share.

I was very set on lucid dreaming last night. Although I did not manage to determine my dream state, I was set on flying and accomplished it slightly. I spent the whole dream trying to fly (in which I eventually did) but, I never became lucid.

Has this happened to anyone? I found it very odd.

      Peace.
.......Then I think of my youth and of my first love-when the longing of desire was strong. Now I long only for my first longing. What is youth? A dream. What is love? The substance of a dream.

      Welcome!

Well it sounds like your brain is getting back to the hang of things. You may have not realized that you were lucid but your brain recognized the lack of the real world to an extent, and thus tried to do something to test it out.

Of course it might have been a regular flying dream.

      Good luck.
