Ok, i'm not sure why they occur but if this is disrupting your flow of lucid dreams and its really annoying then i can help you, now its a tricky one because you don't become fully lucid which denies control am i right? Well, a way of changing it would be to keep on thinking positive thoughts for a start, never doubt that you have the ability to have a decent lucid dream at your demand, you have to keep this positive attitude all the way through this period of annoying inductions, another way that may help is by planning your dreams the night before, tell youself that you will not try and have a lucid by falling asleep within the dream, tell yourself that you will make sure that you are in a dream, also practice your RC's when planning to go to bed, this hopefully should carry into the dream so that when you think you need to go to sleep to have a lucid within the dream you will do an RC and there you have it, if none of these work just pm me and i'd be glad to help |

Its not so much an annoyance, well it is, because I don't seem to be in full control. I was aware of what I had to do to become fully lucid, so I guess what your saying is right, I need to at that point take control and realise that I am dreaming at this point. It's weird as only started to happen recently. Will try this tonight then, and see if I can prevent it |

You apparently have some experience with Lding. If you want to grasp the full potential of your ability I suggest you start by doing away with the reality check. With your experience, doing a RC is like forcing an olympic swimmer to do laps in a kiddie pool. Learn to recognize the transition into the dreamstate by the "feel" rather that by your everyday senses. |

What a long, strange trip it's been.
