Many people have said it to be a good book, i personally have not read it but judging by the descriptions i can see it to be a very interesting and promising book. In terms of success, you will probably get success from practice. Books offer information and it is up to you to utilize them and put the teachings to practice. BUT, having said that, the book should contain lots of good information which could help you achieve things faster.

It all depends really, just give it a read and see what you think, let us know what is is like, i haven't seen a full review of this book yet, just read sections from it on a preview website.

      Enjoy it!

I have the book and I found it to be very enlightening and interesting.

As far as having lucids from the techniques presented, I have not had much success from the visualization techniques although honestly I haven't tried them consistently. There is other information, notably the idea of regarding everything in waking life as dreamlike to ingrain the idea of conscious awareness during dreams.
