I was inspired by a lucid dream last night to type this.

I hadnt had a lucid dream for quite a while thanks to work n such, but this morning, after sleeping late i had one which has motivated me to try harder.
The inspiration came from one point in the dream, i was in a dream house with lots of people and decided to walk out onto the balcony. I was taken aback by the beauty of the view before me, the most amazing feeling of warmth and peace. The house i was in was on a coast, and before me lay the most beautiful sunset ive ever witnessed. It wasnt a dark sunset, the sun was still up a good 25 degree's. The sky was a mixture of orange, yellow and deep vanilla. light clouds formed swirls stretching peacefully across the sky and did little to block the light, instead reflected it turning the view into a work of art.

A few people walked the cliffside below the house, which stretched out and around the horseshoe shaped bay returning half way back across my view in the distance.
Its hard for me to describe the amazement i felt, Ive had lucids like this before but im always stunned. I thought of a post id read on here, questioning whether we experience dreams or just their memories and so i stood there just looking, taking in the view for what felt like a good 5 minutes. I tried to pick faults, faults with how the waves reflected the light or how the clouds looked, but i found zero.

Lucid dreams can seriously be as real and more beautiful than real life... And occasionaly, when you take the time out from bedding everyone you meet and killing innocent DC's... when you just look around and visually take in the world your brain has created for you, they can seriously take your breath away.
Keep trying and keep yourself motivated. Its soooo worth it to see what your minds truly capable of.
