Thread: Time Frame?

Hey everyone,

Now I know it is different for everyone, but I was just wondering how long on average it took people to have their first lucid dream after starting on the idea. That is, after starting a dream journal, and doing RC's etc. I've been going for 5 days (which I know is not long) - I have good recall, I can remember and write down 3 vivid dreams a night. How long should I expect on average?

I don't think anyone can answer the question in a way that you would like. It's different from person to person. The time it takes for you, would be different from what anyone else's time. There is no average. It could take days, weeks, or even months.

i agree with Gwendolyn, you can't really determine when you will have your first lucid dream, its completely random, i've not had a lucid dream for nearly 2 months now, you may have your first tomorrow, tonight, maybe even a year from now, but with good recall and doing regular RC's it shouldn't take too long, be patient my friend
