I don't know whether this is helpful or not - but there are other things I wish to do more than flying when I finally have a LD. Don't get me wrong, I think it would be cool - but so would other things. |

Why do we all posess the same goal? Why do we all want to fly in our dreams???? I took this Q to every Lucid Dreamer i know and even some of my High School teachers and everyone tells me the same thing.."cuz its impossible in real life". Why do we become so wowed by such impossiblilities like flying? Personally i believe now that humans as we are, we will never get used to or become satisfied with what we have, i guess every human has the need to see something impossible to prove an ungiven point that we are and probably always be limited to two legs and arms. What do you guys think? If you are awed by flight or just really want to experience it why do you think we need it so badly??? |

I would say its because its so exhilerating, rather than simply because its impossible in WL. Plus it IS possible in WL (aeroplanes!) and there's lots of other impossible things that you probably wouldn't want to do - like eating fire or whatever. No wait... that sounds fun! |

When I say 'I see!' - I've opened not my eyes, but my mouth.
I think it's a simple reflection of the desire for freedom. Like a metaphor carried out into an experience... |
