I have been able to do this for a while now and decided to share it with you guys. When I'm sleeping and my alarm clock goes off, I use every dream saving technique I can to save myself from waking up. Dream spinning, hand rubing, but most of all, I just focus on staying asleep. I am totally blind to the outside world, but by using my mind power, I lift my "real" hand and reach for the button. I'm not half-asleep, I am fully asleep the entire time. Can anyone else do this?

That sounds really impressive. Do you stay dreaming the entire time?

I mean, your body obviously leaves SP for a small period of time, but I'm curious about how your dream state reacts. Does the dream get fuzzy or lose vividness before/during/after the alarm? Do you go back to dreaming normally after the alarm goes off?

i used to be able to but i ditched my alarm clock a long time ago as i found it damaging to my lucid experiences even tho i could switch it off when asleep as although it is possible it required concentration and i would lose the thread of my dreams. i even had to start working for myself as i was sick of going to work wondering where my dream would have lead me, now i get up when i like and my work and hence my life is far more fulfilling as a counter consequence, the lucid universe helped change my real life for the better and all i had to do was prioritise my psyche over my wallet.
nice going tho, the opposite of this phenomena seems more common from the posts ive read where you act out something in your mind with real world- like perception when in reality you are only performing the action with your mind, i cant speak for others but this tends to happen to me when initially falling asleep mostly.

I do something similar but I come out of the dream just enough to go and smack my alarm clock and activate the snooze.

One thing that always impresses me... my alarm clock has about 10 tiny buttons at the top then a huge ass snooze. To turn the alarm off so it won't go on again in 10 mins you gotta hit one of the tiny buttons in the middle. It always surprises me when I can reach over while still half-asleap and with my eyes closed, and hit the correct button almost 100% of the time with pinpoint accuracy. Hell, right now I couldn't even tell you how many buttons in it is yet my subconcious can do it no sweat.... Its crazy.... I wish I could use that part of my mind normally.

Anyways.. back on subject.. I wake sort of up then do one of my mini Wild/Vilds using the dream that I was in when my alarm went off as an anchor. It gets me back in the dream instantaneosly and I now its a dream because I just woke up. I get lots of little lucids/semis in the morning because of this.

Yeah, the dream come dangerously close ending which is why you need strong mind power to keep it going. Sometimes, I can see my hand reaching for the clock in my dream. However, I have to be pretty tired to do it. I'm a heavy sleeper, but sometimes you just can't help but wake up. You have to act quickly to stay dreaming before your alarm breaks your sleep. I can actually "sense" when I'm about to wake up. Having had lucids all my life, I know the average length of my dreams and know when it's comming. Even having preperation, it still is not an easy task. I can only do it on occassion even when I'm really tired. Hope this helps

This is interesting. I know for a fact I could never do this as I wake up very easily...
