New method to increace lucidity and vividness of dreams?

Ok, I have come accross something which I think could help others, and wondered if some of you here could try this too. Ok here is the story, I have a friend, who has just got a new tattoo. So I said to her not to tell me what it is, I will summon her in my dream and ask her to show me there, and see if I can get close to what it might be.

Now I know this is slightly flawed, due to most girls having the same tattoo on their lower back, typically here in the UK anyway. But I thought it would be something fun to aim for in a LD. So last night I was dreaming that some woman took me to her house, then I was in her kitchen and saw my dad in the house opposite, which I thought was weird. Then my dad was in the kitchen, at this point I relised this was a dream since he would never have been there. So I thought to myself right, first thing I need to do is to get my friend here, so I told my dad to open the door and let her in; since this is the easiest way for me to summon people when lucid. So he opened the door and in she came, I immidiately told her to show me the tattoo on her back, as i studied it, i thought to myself I must draw this so I have it for the morning, and as I drew it the dream became more and more real, I mean I could remember every little detail, so I drew the tattoo, but then, It seemed so real I lost lucidity, but the dream was so vivid I remember everything, the room, the smell, and even what we were saying. The dream went on for a while longer, but nothing more significant.

Anyway, I have a feeling that drawing had led my dream to become more vivid. usually people say rubbing hands and spinning, of which neither has worked for me... So wondered for any of the lucid regulars here if they would mind trying to draw tonight/tomorrow or when ever you can to tell me what effect this has on your dreams please

Sounds good AdamA, drawing-in-Dreaming to increase lucidity..

But what I really want to know is:

Was your drawing anything like the real tattoo that your friend had?

Oh I don't know yet, I doubt it lol. What I say was almost like the phoenix lol. So something on fire, and flying at a guess lol - Will talk to her tonight, but sure I'm wrong lol.

If you could try to draw your dreams, in your dreams to see how it affects you and let me know, that would be awesome!

      Cool idea!

We actually had a lucid task for the month in October 06 where we were to paint a picture of the current landscape:

Just had a quick look there, no one reports that this made their dreams better

But then increasing the vividness of a lucid dream wasn't really the point of the task.. perhaps if you were drawing "believing" that it would make your dream more vivid.. it actually would.
