Well, I think I'm getting much better at dreaming and LDing as a whole. I had a week where I recalled a dream every single night, sometimes 2 or 3! I'm in a slight dry spell right now, but I'm not too worried about it. I know it will come back to me. I've also successfully WILDed a couple times, and even DILDed, but not often.

Alright, so I think my biggest problem is waking up directly from my REM periods. If I let myself sleep in, I rarely if ever wake from REM, (my subconscious must be trained that way...) Setting an alarm doesn't help much, either, as for some strange reason, whenever I set an alarm it takes me FOREVER to fall asleep. I'm talking three hours at least, so the timing for the alarm and REM is way off, and then I can't fall back asleep, etc... I actually believe alarm clocks are a main cause of any insomnia I might have, so yeah...

I've tried drinking lots of water before bed, but I just don't seem to wake at the right time naturally. So, at this point, I honestly believe one of those REM-detecting alarm clocks would be incredibly helpful to me. Not only would I be able to wake from REM and thus remember dreams much more effectively, but my WBTB/WILD attempts would be much more successful, and I'm already decent at inducing SP and such.

So, what's a good one to use? Does anybody have experience with such things? The only one I've ever heard of if is the Axbo, and I'm not an expert on that even... Note, I'm not talking about LD induction devices such as the NovaDreamer or REMDreamer. I'm talking about alarm clocks that use a wristband or headmask to detect when REM ends, and then wakes you up right after. Any recommendations?
