I was reading the experience HockeyIsLife had, and I have something to say about this... I don't do any research on stuff like this, read any books, or even looked in websites, everything i know is from persona experiences, so I wonder if someone can help me understand something... I see from all the comments that where made that sp is sleep paralisis, and during that stage ppl can see things not really there.... ok well if thats true then explain this: One night while I was just waking up, I realised I coulnt move, it had happened b4 so I wasnt scared, but I was trying to figure out ways to get out of it, I couldnt even open my eyes even tough I had woken up, I struggled a little but was able to open my eyes just enough to see blurry images, I was facing up and saw this shadow floating right above, it was half way trough the wall above my head, as if looking for something, on the other side was my brothers room, with his sleeping in it, the shadow looked like that green slime ghost from ghost busters exept it was gray, and i only saw its bottom half... well anyway, when I was finally able to move, I got up and tolm my mom about what happened, about an hour later i went back to bed, this happened at about 3:30am, when my brother woke up for work at 5am, he started to tell my mom about what just had happened to him, he says at about 4am he woke up and could not move, that he felt sommeones hand holding him down, then he felt small feet walking on him, it felt like more than one pair of feet, I dont remember what else he said since it was a while back, but I do remembet us being surprised at describing most of the things the we saw same, so how can it be that we imagined the same thing?

i guess it was aliens. or a ghost. quite possibly one of you felt the fear of the hallucination and without realizing it made a phychic call for help to the respected sibling making them feel what was percieved as a threat. everyone is capable of ESP to a certain degree.

Ivy, there are many shared similarities among SP. Including that, is a pressure on the back (which would be the feet on the back) and grey objects/shadows (take a look at the pic I had on my thread, it may look similar). I don't really think you imagined the exact same thing, but what strikes me is odd is that you both had a case of SP at the same time-frame.

its probably genetic, one of my freinds says he his sister and his mom gets it. It probably just happened at the same time because it was in the morning.
