Hi,
When I was a kid I used to get a form of paralysis all them time and I hated it.
In the afternoon I'd lie on my bed and read a book and, at some point, fall asleep, then when dreaming realise it was a dream.
At that point I always had a huge impulse to wake up, never wanted to stay dreaming and eventually I would wake up, or at least I thought I had.
How did I know I was in trouble, I'd be laying on the bed, and everything looked right except I couldn't look at the book in my hand (on the pillow in front of my eyes) and couldn't move a muscle (except my eyes).
I'm fairly sure I was still asleep, otherwise I would have been able to read something from the book but my eyes would always avert themselves no matter what I did.
Other than that everything was real, exactly like I was awake, though...I would hope that someone would come in so I'd wake up, and sometimes someone would, if I didn't wake up I knew I was dreaming them.
Also the memories seems to be in the waking part of my mind, I had no problem remembering.

So, was that Sleep Paralysis? Or some bizarre Lucid Dream Paralysis?
