Arrow No dream recollection since lucid dream

In the two weeks since I had my first lucid dream, I have been unable to remember a single dream when I wake up in the morning. In the weeks leading up to the lucid dream I was remembering and recording dreams like crazy. Nothing has changed as far as my sleeping habits, and I have been doing RC's and thinking about LD as much as ever. Has anyone else had this experience? It is so frustrating because I want to have another lucid!

I've never heard of an LD causing loss of dream recall. But you want to have another LD, eh? Try thinking of a dream that you're lucid in the morning, and soon enough, you'll enter it... most of the time. Chances are, you'll remember that one. But you may experience Triggered Recall, remembering dreams throughout the day because of thoughts or certain events. I can only say try your hardest, and don't lead to a dry spell.

It may be that you're simply trying TOO hard. Just relax and not try not to obsess about the fact that your dream recall has gotten shaky and about how badly you want another lucid dream.

Your recall will come back.. it normally does.

It's normal to go thru cycles. I'm in a dryspell myself, including recall, but it's happened often enough for me to know it will eventually come back. I'm sure that you'll get it back too.

Did your diet, daily routine, or activities change? You might need to get some more vitamin B6 and B12 in you.

      Second the b6 motion

I just started taking vitamin B6 after a LONG dryspell, and I just had one of my longest, most detailed recalls ever. I don't know if this is the sole reason for the vivid dream, but I feel it greatly contributed! It can't hurt to try, right? (As long as you stay within the correct dosage!)

Other than that, WBTB is important, but I bet you already knew that.

Hmmm, I didn't know about the vitamins. Maybe I'll give that a try. Thanks to everyone for the advice. I'll keep trying!
