I would say this definitely does not have anything to do with lucid dreaming, unless you're experiencing these things as you're falling asleep. |

Hallucinating a little? This all could be my imagination as well, but these past couple of days, I keep seeing things that I can't quite describe multiple times a day. From shadows, to white lights swaying past me and I keep feeling something touch me. From little itches to feelings of actual fingers on me. I'm freaking out little by little each day. |

I have experinced small auditory and once a large visual hallucination before though all of them were right before I fell asleep. It may be a good idea to go see a doctor. |
........ Multiple times a day? Like when you are awake and doing activities? If so you may want to see a doctor about that. But if it is before you are falling asleep, or waking up from being asleep that could very well just be Sleep Parylysis. |
Have you been getting enough sleep? One of my friends described something similar, but it only ever happened to him when he was completely sleep-deprived and running on caffeine. |
I believe it's sleep related. As others said, these hallucinations are probably because of lack of sleep. I had the same happen to me douring school, when I wasn't getting enough sleep. I wasn't getting audio hallucinations only visual ones. Like bright sparks flying infront of me, or coloured clouds, small images, things like that. Now I'm not getting them anymore, I sleep like 12 hours a night |
But isn't there at least a slight possibility that the LDs are causing it? |
No, LDing does not cause these symptoms in waking life throughout the day. Like Bonsay said, the most LDing may have done is made you aware of already existing problems. |
I think it might be something like the placebo effect. You think too much about something and then the mind starts playing tricks on you. Altough the safest bet would be consulting a doctor. Of course this is only what i think, Im not a professional |
Oh you are right I didn't think about sleep deprivation, but yes I have had those sypmtoms when I have been awake fore a few days like 2+ so that may be your problem is that you are not getting enough sleep and are staying awake for to long. |
Thanks a lot all of you. I have been getting quite a bit of sleep recently, but normally I don't get enough so that really can be the cause. Edit:Yes, when I said it happened 'multiple times a day', I meant throughout the day and night while I'm out and about. I even saw neon colors and everything around me was 'vibrating' like crazy last night while being awake which is weird. Surprisingly, nothing has happened AT ALL today so maybe I don't have much to worry about after all. I assumed LD had nothing to do with it and that other's had experienced this too. I'm going to try to get even more sleep...(12 hours like Bonsay) |
