Hi, I am new to this forum and I wished to discuss something...

ok, so the other night I fell asleep around 4:45 am and woke up at 8:00. then went back to bed and woke up at 9:50, then went back to bed and woke up at 10:50. After that I set my alarm for 1:00 pm and tried to go back to sleep but struggled. At the 4th time I fell asleep, The next thing I knew I was experiencing a very intimate situation with some girl and it was the most vivid dream ever; I could hear, feel, and see everything like in real life: unlike any other dream I had before. After that I "woke up" within that dream unaware I was still dreaming (there was no dream signs at all, I felt the same exact way I did around 10:50 when I was trying to go back to sleep). I rolled from my stomach to my back and tried to return to sleep. As I was going back into the 2nd dream dimension, I heard extremely vivid music as though I had an mp3 player hooked up to my brain. I then started to think-out my own song (which just happened to be thrash metal) and I was writing the song riff by riff. I then heard my dad come home and heard crinkling grocery bags and him talking to someone. I "woke up" once more and at this point I realized I was still dreaming because I was inbetween waking life and dreaming. Since I recogonized that I had the possibility to wake up to the real world, I felt as though I could sustain the dream forever. Unfortunately somewhere along the line waking-life thought patterns won over my dream thought patterns, and I finally woke up at 12:54

so I was wondering if falling asleep multiple times affects the vividness and lucidity of the dreams you have
