      Went to sleep clinic - got my sleep analysis - help me analyze it!

      Hi everyone!

      This is my sleep analysis, everything is here, and most important, REM periods are here too.

      Anyone with experience in analyzing sleep reports?
      How can I use it to have better LD and espacially WILDs?
      What times best for LD?

      Posts will be most appreciated.

      It looks very nice .
      Theoretically, if you go to bed at the same time you went when doing the test, you should have the REM periods at the same times (I guess). So you can set an alarm clock to wake you up at the start or in the middle of a REM period, to do WILDS or other WBTBs. I don't have experience with this, but you can try if you want.

      I made this test last year, I was having some sleeping difficulities, but no more.
      Anyone who knows about best REM periods for WILDing?

      I suppose the best REM period would be one of the longest, since it allows for longer lucidity.

      graphicsgriffin, per Wikipedia, "REM sleep in adults typically occupies 20-25% of total sleep, lasting about 90-120 minutes. During a normal night of sleep, we usually experience about 4 or 5 periods of REM sleep; they are quite short at the beginning of the night and longer at the end. It is common to wake for a short time at the end of a REM phase. The relative amount of REM sleep varies considerably with age."

      I couldn't really make out when your REM periods were based on your chart.

      But you would want to try to wake up after your 2nd or 3rd REM period and then try to WILD since this would be the start of your longest REM phases.

      I've taken a look at your file, and I figure that you experience REM in 120 (3 hour) increments. Ergo, you'd want to wake up at around the 5.5 hour mark, then commence with the WILD.

      Thanks for the ideas.

      I'll try them all.
      Though, not able yet to achieve SP!
      It's very difficult for me at some point.
      I just don't know what I'm missing.
      And about hyp. imagery.. I cannot see anything like that!
