Thread: do you blink in your lds?

I don't think that you blink too. If I close my eyes, im am usualy wake up when I open them.

I don't normally notice myself blinking in lucid dreams, but I did once. The dream kept fading out, and the second to last time it happened I noticed that it was happening because I was blinking. I decided not to blink, but blinked again accidentally and woke up.

Yes actually I think I do blink in my LD's but since you can see with your eyes closed I don't think it really matters.

Yeah, I blink in lucids and it doesn't really end the dream. The dream only ends when I close my eyes longer than like 2 seconds.

As above really. I usually do to change things in dreams. But wouldn't need to blink as I'm sure my eyes wouldn't dry out in a dream lol

I can't remember blinking in dreams either. I think I might have when I woke up from my latest LD, when someone pressed their foot into my stomach.

Lol, my eyes kinda do... must be psychological, though...

No, I think it's because it's all just a perception, kind of like if you perceive yourself to be a blinking guy then you will notice blinking.

It's similar to when I'm fighting I always find myself punching real slow at some point. When I perceive it, it becomes me actually punching slow and I ALWAYS get an ass kicking.

I don't think I blink, however I do use blinking as stabalising my dreams, just don't keep your eyes closed to long or you might wake up when trying to open them :p
