Try holding your breath. |

I finally had a lucid dream that actually lasted a good amount of time! I "woke up" in a bed that I had when I was a kid and immediately knew I was dreaming. Now here comes the problem. I attempted to do a reality check while i was still in bed. I tried looking at my hands, nothing unusual. Then I tried poking a finger thru my hand, still nothing. I tried rubbing my hands and spinning. None of these techniques seemed to work for me. I couldnt prove to myself that I was in fact dreaming even though I was. Everything felt normal. When I woke up in the morning I couldnt belive how real my dream was. I was wondering what other tests I could do to help me assure myself next time I have a lucid dream? |

Hello, goodbye, and more.
Have u tried the technique of looking at the time and then looking back at it to see if the time changes??? |
|
A technique that I've always used and has never failed me is blocking your nose and trying to breathe through it. |

I couldnever attempt to do a reality check,i watch it like a show,so it's not first person, but sometimes it is...so I have no idea how to do a reallity check >_< |

1. Check The Time (It's Always Different). |

If u know u r in a dream.. why still bother to do RC? lol |

Try summoning or changing things. "Know" what will be on the other side of the door when you open it. |

Lucid Dreaming Goals
[Done] Remember multiple dreams a night, consistently
[Done] Become Lucid (6/28/07)
[Done] Fly
[ ] Fly some more
I knew I was in a dream, but I could not prove it. None of the rc's I did worked for some reason. I just kinda went along with the dream because I had no control. I was only aware I was in the dream. I'm just starting out so, hopefully, I can do better next time. |
