lucid dream or just dreaming I was?

last night during dreaming i had horrible dream that i woke up went into the bathroom and had all sores and cuts on my feet. It was so vivid that i actually said this cant be dream and suddenly i realized i was dreaming.I roared im dreaming and started rubbing my hands together and shouting clarity but it didn't change it wasn't very vivid. I ran and jumped out the window and flew straight forward but the dream was very fuzzy and woke up in bed again but i could hear music and so knew i was dreaming but as i got out of bed i lost lucidity .

      i have a few questions

      1. was this definitely a lucid dream

      2. when i realized i was dreaming i knew i shouldn't have flown straight away but i couldn't stop myself. is this normal that during a lucid you dont have full control of what you do

      3. it seemed that while i was dreaming it was very vivid but when i awoke it seemed like a normal dream is this normal for a first timer and do they get better

      4. i have been trying to wild for about 10 days does having a ld make that easier.

      thanks for listening

That which the dream shows is the shadow of such wisdom as exists in man, even if during his waking state he may know nothing about it... We do not know it because we are fooling away our time with outward and perishing things, and are asleep in regard to that which is real within ourselves. Philipus Aureolus Paracelsus

      1. This definately was a lucid dream

      2. In a lucid dream you should be able to make conscious decisions but i think you were just really excited you became lucid so you tried as much as you could before you lost lucidity.

      3. I'm not sure what your saying there but i'm guessing that you had a False Awakening, they happen when you wake up in your bed but you dreamed it happened, your still in a dream but you truly believe you are awake. This happens sometimes if your lucky, they are ideal to put in an RC because if you have a FA and then automatically do an RC you will become lucid.

      4. Not really, but in terms of recognising your environment you surely will recognise the feeling of becoming lucid, if your asking will it boost your chances of being sucessful at a WILD i would say no, its up to you to do that.

Hope that helped and good luck!
