Does it mean anything?

I have a recurrent dreamsign. When I reach in my left pocket in a dream/ LD , I find a handgun, Colt 1911 there. It is really cool and I used it to defeat many enemies. Sometimes it is in my hands and I examine it. Gun looks really cool - shiny silver with engravings, or runes on it. anybody knows why it happens? anything similar?

Often being a phallic object, when mixed with fanatasy conventional symbols, my best interpretation to it would be that you are currently striving hard in life to become the person you want to be; you feel that you are on the right path, but there are obstacles in your way that are just petty or annoying to deal with, or, in some cases, rather tough (sometimes pulling that trigger is pretty hard, but I assume it's nothing since you seem so interested in using the gun). That'd be my best guess; that you feel you are on a good path of life, but there are problems existing around you that are stopping you from achieving what you truly want. A little vague.. but, that's what dreams are.. Think I'm close? Hope I've been enlightening.

hmm, I doubt you are close on that one The thing is - I've found a stable object that accompanies me in my dreams. It's always in the left pocket when I need it... Without even thinking of it, it's there. problem is - why is it there? why this gun is so stable? what puts it in my dreams?

Perhaps a subconcious feeling of caution. A need to protect oneself?

Are you sure you're not just happy to be dreaming I have no idea what it might be, but I bet you're pretty glad it's there...
