Do all induction methods lead to same Vividness of LD's?

I havent had any luck with lucid dreams yet, but I have a question about the induction techniques.

Do all techniques lead to the same clarity and vividness in lucid dreams?

Ive heard that although WILD is the hardest technique to do, it leads to the most stable and vivid lucid dreams.

WILDs are (as you say yourself) extremly much more vivid than other lucid dreams, some say that these can get even more realistic than the reality (i have never tried WILD, so i have no idea whether this is true or not).

I think that generally, lucid dreams where you pass dirrectly from wakefulness to dreaming are a million times more vivid and stable than (lucid)dreams that you have in the middle of sleep.

Yep I agree about WILD. However I've had some extremely vivid lucid dreams with other methods. You can always use techniques to increase vividness once you enter the LD.

I think a WILD may be more likely to throw you immediately into a vivid LD, but I believe you can get just as vivid with other methods if you practice. Most of my dreams are early morning DILDs, and lately I've been getting some extremely vivid dreams.

I have heard a WILD is the best method, but i have had some pretty intense LDs through DILD so if WILD is better maybe I should try that instead :p

You definitely owe it to yourself to try WBTB + WILD. Even if the experience isn't more vivid there's a good chance of having a longer lucid time, which is certainly worth it alone.

That being said, all methods have the same potential of lucidity but WILD does tend to harbor the easiest road to getting there.

Yes, there are tutorials here. WBTB is when you "Wake and go Back To Bed". It's best done after 5-6 hours of sleep (I try for 5 1/4 hours after falling asleep). Awaken yourself with your alarm and get up for 15-30 minutes (some people swear by 45 minutes). The goal is to time your awakening so that you catch one of your later, longer dream periods (REM). That way, when you fall back asleep you'll often enter directly into REM again meaning, if you WILD, you'll be right there in a dream immediately instead of simply setting yourself up for a possible DILD

Then when you go back to sleep you'll find WILD to be much more obtainable. The reason so many people think WILD is so difficult is because they try it at the beginning of the night. While it's possible to WILD at the onset of the night's sleep, it's far easier when done during later REM periods.

Ah look at you acting like a noob! :p

Check the tutorials page. Also Clairity's technique is very popular, you can just use the search function and type in "clairity".

Sorry us naturals are unfamiliar with these induction techniques :p

Nah its all good to try these new ways, well new to me anyway. I normally fall asleep and get lucid, except my bed is cursed right now and only seem to get lucid when away in hotels
