      I KNEW i wasnt crazy

For the longest time ive wondered about what i used to call the Dream World

Then I-doser comes along, and i see Lucid Dreaming, i read what its about, and it says bassicly " You have complete control over what happens in ur dreams"

and now that ive found it, to think that i was crazy, all this time its just been lucid dreaming, soo i have LOTS of questions but for now i only have 2...

1: Is it possible to do anything in a lucid dream, then then maybe even later on come back to it, almost as if playing a video game, saving your point in the game and comming back to it.. Is that possible with LD?

2: is it possible to enter a LD with a friend?... like say i wanted to enter a LD with a friend, and we could actulli hang out and stuff in they dream, and then come back to the reality and actuly see that we both experinced the same thing?
Who needs weed to get the high feeling?
when u can lucid dream your self to do anything you want to?

1: anything is possible in an LD. think it and it happens.

2: BIG matter of belief. I don't personally believe in dream sharing cus of a massive lack of evidence. But your free to try!

      1. Yes its possible. Its alot harder to do it if continue the dream like 2 weeks later. Ive only done it in the morning when i was still sleeping.

      2. It MIGHT be possible. Id rather hang out with a friend in a ld thats a dream character. 90% of the time with me, they're a lot funnier and cooler when there a figment of your imagination, Oh welcome to dreaviews!

      1. Whatever you want to do, it's your imagination.

      2. Unless you believe in souls, no. Dreams happen in your brain, and you can no more be in someone else's dream than you can be inside their brain.

      1) Definitely possible, when I wake from a LD and I can go back to sleep I normally carry it on.

      2) I don't see how this could be possible, unless you believe in telepathy.

EDIT: Actually, since some people talk in their sleep, and I know a couple of people who's dreams can be directly manipulated by talking to them (A friend of mine used to regularly torment one of his friends by telling him horrible things while he was asleep). If you get two people who talk about their dreams as they're dreaming and who also get influenced by what the other is saying...

Well, I guess you have your answers. There are some interesting threads here about things to try in your dreams, especially the Lucid Task of the month (there are actually two!), so I'd definitely recommend giving them a look.

As for the dream sharing, if you're interested in that subject, check out the Research section of the forum and have a look around there.

Welcome to Dreamviews, I hope you learn all you seek.
      Here's wishing you good dreaming.

ok well.. i have a another question and a statement...

      firstly.. my question

... how long can u stay in a LD, like is it like a kwik flash like most normal dreams OR... is it like u spending time in there as if u would here?

and my statement.. because ive had 1 or 2 dreams with some of my friends, with like me and him and her was in it, and i told them about it, and turns out they've had the same dream the same night i did

and with the girl i love... i was able to communicate wit her for like a second, lol cause weridly enough i wanted to try out this thing ive been talking about , The dream world (which ive found is just LD)
and i told her that im going to try something, i thought as hard as i could to mentally tell her to tell me on yahoo .. that she loved me... and i even begged

and like 10 seconds later she did.. it was crazy and ILL NEVER forget that night

      1. Yeah, you can do it in non-lucids too. well... maybe, I dont know if its something everyone can do or if it just runs in my family, cause my dad and brother and I can do that in non-lucids but no one else I know can.
      2. I have no idea

Yung, unless you've actually been in a lucid dream, seen a friend, and then both of you remember seeing each other, precise snippits of conversation, etc., then it's very likely that you simply saw your friend as a dream character, and maybe you had similar dreams because you shared some similar experiences that day, and your sub conscious minds were thinking about the same issues.

Hey, Yung! Another S.E. Michigander! That's three of us I know of now! One or two more and we can activate the takeover plan...

      1. yes. easier in LDs than in regular dreams.

      2. probably, but the rarity of this occurance lends doubt to its being possible. However, "there is more in heaven and earth" so, I'd hold out that this one is flexible. Brings to mind LSD tests done way back - sharing of consciousnesses, etc, in this case subconsciousnesses (essesesessesssses)

I'm not gonna answer any questions, but I would like to ask how many times you have to repeat the same answer over and over.

As many times as newbies come in and having found their way around yet. Might as well ask how many times you have to say 'hello'. YOU don't have to answer anything. That is entirely up to you, but it doesn't require snide comments if you choose not to anymore.

      Hahaha I like your style.

      1. Yes anything is possible in a lucid dream.
      2. It's a possibility.
