      Lucid DAYdream?

      Hello!

So I was sitting on my couch a couple of nights ago because the power went out. It was around 8:00pm and rather dark outside, but there was still some light in the sky.

I could not read and I was not tired so there was pretty much nothing for me to do. I was staring at the ceiling when I started feeling SP. I did not realize it right away.

I was imagening a NASCAR race and I was one of the drivers. Suddenly I heard a great big engine roar through my living room. It was definetly not outside, and I then realized it was a sound that I was imagening because of SP.

Could this be used to have a lucid daydream, or at least a very minor one, even with one's eyes open?

      Thanks!

Why have a daydream if you could just close your eyes and have a LD. I don't really understand the "mechanics" lucid daydream and if such a thing exists, but once you feel SP just go with it into a LD.

According to Jane Roberts awareness is an amazingly fluid thing - we can quite literally project it just about anywhere in time or space.

If I had the experience you described I would not try to define it too tightly. It could have been a phantom of your psyche, or you might have 'thrown' your awareness to a real event, or it may have been something else altogether.

It's a weird, weird world in there.
