Sneezing in Dreams?

So I read somewhere that a good way to remember to do reality checks is to do one every time you sneeze, yawn, cough, etc... and this got me thinking... I don't think I've ever sneezed in a dream, lucid or otherwise.

Is it even possible? If we sneeze because our nose gets irritated by something, does that ever happen in a dream?

For me, at least, I know my nose isn't properly modeled by my dreams. Reality checking by plugging my nose and then being able to breathe through it works like a charm, so I'm not really surprised that I've never sneezed in a dream.

Has anyone else?

Nope I dont think I've ever sneezed in a dream. Alot of times sneezing is just a random thing so I don't think it will just happen but maybe you might sneeze if you are allergic to something. If you are allergic to cats then when you see one in a dream you might sneeze. IRL I sneeze alot coming out into bright sunlight but I've never done that in a dream. I don't remember ever coughing or yawning either.

A lot of people don't know this, but people also sneeze when exposed to a bright light. Remember this next time you step out of your house into a bright sunny day

I can imagine sneezing in a dream...blows trees down and rips up the dirt in a blast of frothy snot. Am I right?

Haven't had this happen yet.

this happens to me all the time. and when I eat chocolate, the first bite I'll sneeze, then I'm ok.

I am the same with mint chewing gum.

Oh and I dont know if you could yawn in a dream either?

I do that all the time! Then I looked it up and found out it was called photic sneeze reflex or somethin' like that... Used to think I was the only one that did that.

I've never sneezed/coughed/etc. in a dream, as far as I know.

I do that with just normal mints. Everyday at lunch at school I would pop 2 mints into my mouth and then sneeze like 4 times. It also helped if I stared at the lights on the ceiling or out a window.

And they've actually identified the single gene that makes people sneeze in the sun... it happens to me all the time.
