running is just my instinct |

I always seem to run to get anywhere in my lucid dreams. Why can't I just chill out and walk? I always end up running down a road that going nowhere till I wake up. I have walked before in a lucid dream and that always works out better to prolong the dream. Is this a common occurence? |

Running in dreams is pretty fun. You can use the momentum you build up, to do all sorts of fun things. In fact, many of my Lucid dreams are started because I will be running in my dream. And then get airborne. I thought about taking up running in real life to help induce Lucidity. Instead I got some Rollerblades. But I have not used them to much yet. |
|
I do that too. Do you run a lot? I run several miles everyday so running comes naturally. It might also be because you're not sure how long the dream will last and want to get there quicker and don't quite have the logic to simply shorten the distance or fly there. |

I was running in my ld's alot not long ago beacuse of what ninja9578 said u ain't sure how long the ld will last and want to get there faster but i don't anymore because i'v realised that if u think that way u'll wake up alot faster. |

my pattern is: stand dumbly, then run>jump>fly around till dream ends. |
|
We who are about to dream, salute you!
I used be afraid to run cause then I might get too excited and wake up. Now I'm more experienced and can run at the speed of light |
|
Oohhh, I just thought of an insanely fun LD goal. I want to try wearing the rollerblades from Air Gear! (Basically, roller blades with rockets that can do tricks) |

I either run or I fly. I guess it's so I can get more done in however much time I have. |

I still have never flown successfully. But it seems like I always start with running... maybe that's why I run. |
|
I have the same situation. I am always in a hurry for a reason. The only lucid I've had control over I had super speed. So I just messed with people. I dunno I used to run XC and Track so maybe that has had an affect on my dreams. I wish it would stop. |

Why does it seem so hard to wake up now and see who we really are?
When I run I always get the instinct to throw myself at the air and fly. Though, I hardly do it. If a dream is vivid I'm too fascinated to move quickly. Until a zombie attacks that it... |

All cars are yours for the taking in your lucids. Havent you noticed? |

I want to try super speed sometime. But first I'd like to experience an entire, busy Lucid City, rooftop jump, then destroy it. |
