      Do you have any theories about why some are born with the ability to lucid dream, while the most people need to practice a lot to be able to LD?

      I am thinking it is brain chemistry. Some people are natural lucid dreamers, some are not. Some people regularly have visions, some do not.
      It doesn't seem to be related to age, sex, race, or upbringing either.

      Psychactive substances change brain chemistry and can induce visions and possible lucid dreams as well.
