lsa and dreaming

anyone in that's been in chat lately probably saw this coming. i took one psylocibin [hope that spelling is right] shroom cap. i think it was cubensis. anyway i was trippin but only a little bit. it must've been pretty potent still, it was only one. that night i had some pretty vivid and long dreams. i dreamt that one of my friends grandma's died and they put her dresser in my room. i opened the top drawer and found probably 30 3x3x3 white plastic bin's all full of pills. i went for the xanax and probably took 50 of them easy and stuck 'em in my pocket. [i don't even like xanax.] everything else was pretty normal. my mom found out about all the pills and asked me if i took any and of course she got a big innocent smile and "of course not my precious mother" anyway about 40% of my dreams are about drugs so this isn't rare. i think it's just because i enjoy them and read about them alot. [erowid.com check it out] the details are unimportant. what i'm getting at is that i think the shrooms increased the vividness, length, and recall of my dream[s]. not that i recommend this as a fundamental practice for gaining any sort of "dream experience" of anykind. i do however speculate that it may be somewhat helpful for those of you that seem to be having dryspells. i tried to wild and fild a little bit too so that could've played a factor. today i took a much higher dose but i consumed it as shroom tea [which is probably evident in my grammar] heh heh heh for those of you who are into this sort of thing, try it out and tell me what happens. oh and happy tripping p.s. comments are quite welcome. p.s.s. thank you for reading this far.

Mushrooms are incredible - I've never been a big fan of marijuana, alcohol, painkillers, or what have you, but shrooms are good stuff.... That said, for me personally, shrooms tend to kill any dream recall I have. Generally speaking I have great dream recall, I regularly recall 2-3 dreams per night, but if I do shrooms I won't remember a darn thing. I guess it's different for everybody. I think everybody should try shrooms once... It's great to explore alternate states of consciousness. Quite like dreaming, eh?

My friend and I are growing cubensis. They'll be ready in about two weeks, I'll take note of how they affect my dreams (haven't tripped on them yet though). Dream drugs are kind of strange though. I once dreamed of smoking crystal meth, and it turned me into some sort of corpse god, i've never even done crystal meth (and don't plan to), wtf. EDIT: Wait, your thread say's "lsa and dreaming" but doesn't mention lsa at all after that?

I think your right. I noticed shrooms made my dreams much more colorful and clear. It was much easier to see in my dreams days after taking shrooms. By the way theres no LSA in psilocybin mushrooms. Believe it or not psilocybin mushrooms contain psilocybin. The two main alkaloids that make you hallucinate are psilocybin and psilocin. You probably already know but LSA is the chemical inside Morning Glory seeds. Lysergic acid the main precursor for synthesising LSD. The correct name for the mushrooms are "psilocybe" mushrooms since the most well known magic mushrooms are "Psilocybe cubensis". Once in a dream I was eating the sugar left in the bottom of a bag of sour patch kids, but after I finished it I found out it was actually LSD! It ended up being a very cool dream

A very good mushroom (And Legal), Amanitis Muscaria, is very good for Lucid Dreaming. I have taken these once before, and it had put me in the most vivid normal dream of my life time. I hadnt had the skills to go Lucid but the dream was so horribly real. You can order the Fly Agaric mushrooms off quite a lot of places on the internet.

i'm glad to see some people have the same ideas about shrooms. they always make my stomach feels so weird i can't enjoy the trip. unless i go outside... and then i end up dancing in the street or something. that's not to good. i have a field not to far from my house. so why not do it anyway?
