      Do different beds have effects?

See, About a month ago, I got this new bed. It was really old, and creaks and groans. Although for some strange reason, every night I sleep on it I have a lucid dream. I have been having them every night for almost 4 weeks now. Do you think it is the bed that is causing me to LD, because normally, I only have a lucid about once every two weeks.

All a bed would effect is the quality of sleep you are getting. Perhaps you are getting a better sleep and this is directly impacting the quality of your dreams.

I figured that was what was happening. I slept horribly on my old bed, and I sleep great on my new one.

Maybe your subconscious is using the "creaks" and "groans" as dream signs and as signals that you are indeed sleeping and therefore dreaming.

I just bought a memory foam bed. Day one I slept great - no LD yet. Maybe tonight.

I made a similar thread about this: http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/inde...howtopic=31514

That may explain it for you.

I remember my dreams more if I sleep in an uncomfortable way or place. Like when I slept on the floor (don't ask me why I did it.. I'm a man. I have needs), I remembered my dreams good. Maybe because I woke up several times during the night.
I sleep so I don't have to feel

As long as we can swim freely in our dreams we won't need that sky anymore

First and only lucid dream: 23 july-07

The only time i havnt remembered any dreams for a night in like the past year was when I slept in a hotel with a chair together facing the couch (it was a suite). Woke up with a little bit of remembering that I had a dream but could not remember anything about it. My bed at home is pretty comfy I guess and I sleep well enough on it and remember my dreams.
