      Lucid Draming Documentary

      Hello!

I’m currently looking for British lucid dreamers who would like to share their experiences in a television documentary. We will be discussing this extraordinary talent in great details and are looking to talk to people who are very experienced in the area and lucid dream on a regular basis.

If you’re interested in being involved please contact Yugesh, [email protected]

      Kind Regards,
      Helen Cunnane

I don't think he's British but you should talk to Seeker about that.

If I were brittish I'd certainly join.

I support anything that promotes lucid dreaming.

      Just giving a bump.

I'd love to, but I can't for three reasons:
      1. I don't live in England (close though).
      2. I haven't really had any real lucid dreams.
      3. I'm pretty shy and probably wouldn't do well with the thought of being on TV.

Hopefully you find someone to help you.

I'd love to see a documentary on lucid dreaming. I'm not sure you've got the right end of the stick so here's my $.02 :-).

      "talent"?

As in something you're born with, or more "have" than "do"? An exceptionally small number of people have what could be described as a talent. Having lucid dreams regularly, or even all the time, throughout their life, without needing to put any effort into it. Very interesting, but if there's more than three of them in our 1,760 active members I'll, uh... eat my words when they turn up on this thread to prove me wrong. And I write lots of words and long ones too, so I really don't want to have to eat them all.

Try [learnable] skill. LaBerge (1980), unfortunately it's not one of the papers you can download for free.

You may be able to find enough people with sufficient depth of experience, but you want to be careful on how you filter for "regular". People might have dry spells when you catch them, but have journalled experience that would be interesting.

Seriously. Lucidity is interesting, but if you concentrate on sustained experience you wouldn't have much material to make a program for a wider audience. These fantastic experiences occur within a wider spread of activity, form part of a wider context. E.g. the scientific context. Without the "learnable skill" result, you get "a small number of people happen to have 'better' dreams than the rest of us". Without signal verification, "a small number of people say they have 'better' dreams than the rest of us".

Obviously this is only a single documentary, you have limited time to research it and finite air time, but if you what you select is just what sounds cool, it'd be just another parapsychology documentary. Lucid dreaming >= telekinesis or alien abductions, honest :-D.

P.S. Or maybe I'm just writing this because I'm British but couldn't honestly say I have regular lucids . Tho being on TV doesn't really appeal (I write better than I talk and both too slowly).

o0o0o0o sounds interesting. Although I am photophobic so count me out. But would be interested to see it when it comes out. Out of interest which channel is this due to be broadcast on?

I have no idea, why members are replying to the actual main-post. He's not gonna reply. Mail him, if you have anything to say.

She (:-D) joined. She had to give an email address, right? Even if he doesn't poll the forum, he'll get email notifications by default, if she wants to come back.

And even if she doesn't want to come back, that doesn't mean we can't use it as a seed for discussion. Maybe we're more interested in talking with people we know than emailing someone with an endboard.com address just to get put on a list.

Maybe we want to bump the thread so it stays active for a few days and people have a greater chance of seeing it, huh?

I said nothing about the unrelated discussion, but the people replying to the main-post. She or he, has mostlikely disabled email notifications, and will only react on actuall human stuff.
