strange dream.

The other night I had a really weird dream that isn't like me at all. I dreampt i was bisexual. I have nothing againt's bisexuals, or gays for that matter, but it was just weird, because i'm one of the straightest people i know. I don't want you all to freak out and never look at my posts(the few and far between) teh same way ever again, so I'm not going into details unless you want to hear it. It's not like super gross/gory, but still. So any ideas why I might dream of being bisexual?

Hey it can't hurt to listen. I'm always open to peoples veiws, though they may be wrong, every 1 is intiled to equal rights. Although i am far from gay or bi. If i was female though i might be more open though. Seeing how the media and the socitiy around us tend to be more leanant twords lesbians. So fire off

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar... No biggy... If it makes you feel any better I've had dreams I was a lesbian, but I guess that's a little different... The fact that it concerns you so much should be more of a worry than the fact that you had the dream at all...

My dreams are way too wild to ever try and interpret as meaning anything whatsoever...

Anyway, I wouldn't worry about any gay/lesbian dreams. They're perfectly normal and have nothing to do with your sexual preferences. Nor does it mean that you are a pervert. Try being a little more open about it. What I mean by that is, don't look at it so much as a gay encounter. Think of it this way: Men and women are different. There's no way around it. If you're a woman dreaming of a sexual encounter with another woman, that may mean that you have a want to be loved, mothered, treated gently. If you're a man dreaming of a sexual encounter with another man, it may mean that you're looking for strength, or acting on your most basic emotions (throughout history, the phallus/penis has always been looked at as a source of men's power). If you enjoyed it (and you don't have to say so), it could represent the taking back of your masculine power. If you did not enjoy it, it could represent the loss of masculine power (just an aside: from what I've read, dreams of losing masculinity are pretty common among new fathers). Anyway, this is all just introspection. Take it or leave it, but either way don't be too worried about it. These dreams are more common than you think. Oh, and Dal, you forgot bukkake... Although that's one of the more disturbing subsidiaries of hentai. And there's also ecchi (unless erojiji means the same thing? Never heard that one before). There's a name for movies like Uroksukidojo and La Blue Girl, too (lots of naughty tentacles), but I can't remember what it is.

Nebula, I wouldn't worry either! Just think of dreaming as a consequence free environment to explore and experience things you would never or could never do while awake. Like you, I am straight, but I have an open mind and am not caught up in all of the hate against the lesbian/gay/transgendered community.
