I think I might be close.

This is my first post, and yes it is pretty much the same as many others, but I am pretty happy/proud of myself so i have to post this.

During my dream last night (2nd one since I found this site) One of my DC's referred to something as a Pegasus. and I said that if it were a Pegasus it would have to have wings, so I started flapping my arms and I started hovering. I thought to myself how weird it was I tried it again and I still hovered. but then I woke up. I am just wondering if being able to determine that something isn't right inside your dream is a building stone for success?

Even if I cant achieve lucidity any time soon, I am glad about the dream journal, because I enjoy remembering my dreams. and I have gotten better at it. hopefully tonight it will continue to improve my skills. I write them in a little Mead Memo book. the first one took up half a page, the 2nd one took up 2 and a half pages.

      anyways thanks for your time.

That's exactly what you want to happen!

When those "this is weird" moments happen:

      1) you are questioning your "status" and
      2) hopefully such questions will lead you to wonder if you're dreaming and
      3) this wondering will hopefully lead you to do a reality check which
      4) will confirm to you that you're dreaming and
      5) this will cause you to become lucid.

Dream journals are very helpful as they build your dream recall.. which is important cuz what good is finally having a lucid dream if you can barely remember it?

All in all, it sounds like you're off to a very promising start!

Exactly what Clairity said, you're making a great start. You're questioning things which is brilliant.

Good luck with the lucid task!

Yes you want that to happen, if somthing wierd happens in real life you should to a reality check so if somthing wierd happens in a dream you do a reality check so you can become lucid.

I'm not sure but you may have actualy been lucid, you were consiouse enough to think something wasn't right.

      ^Probably

By the sounds of things you are doing great, and if you enjoy writing out your dreams in your dream journal it only makes it better, you will do very well if you continue with this positive attitude Best of luck to you with future lucid dreams, your making great progress so far.
