Thread: Can you do these while Lucid?

Topics like this make me wanna have my first lucid dream more and more!!!


I sincerely hope that a person can all of this stuff, that would be awesome.

yes and yes. ive never done the football one, but i WILDed into a call of duty like place once. i didnt have any allies but i had a gun, and i got to shoot people 8)

Oh thats pretty sweet, how about sports though? Anyone have a real realistic game?

Why do things in a LD that you could do in real life? You can do anything. Go have fun in outer space or try and find bigfoot or something :p!

As in sports, I mean like the NFL with millions of fans watching you and playing with Kobe Bryant and Shaq. I wish I were you, i'd love doing that in real life.

I noticed when my dream is about a game it's like I am actually in the game as a character so the dream takes place in the games universe. I have done a Call Of Duty type thing I was in WWII in Hiroshima and I was on Japans side and I had a lot of allies and were shooting the allied forces as they came up onto the beaches that was crazy.

I have also had a lot of Football dreams since I used to play that sport and it is just like a actual football game. So yes the NFL would be a very likely scenario depending on your dream control that is.

Wow, thats pretty cool. When you shoot a gun, can you miss? Or does it even involve skill at all?

I've had guns that don't work or constantly miss, then some that worked - took some focus and luck on my part I think. no idea about games

Yeah all the guns I have used usually work and hit if I think they are going to, but if I think I missed or the trajectory was off they don't hit although that kind of adds to the realizim of using a fully automatic or semi-automatic weapon.

Well I'm not a football fan at all (and this 08/01/05 LD below didn't involve the NFL or millions of fans) but I thought it was pretty cool:

For some reason I thought I need to do the July Lucid Task of the Month (asking "where am I?)". It didn't dawn on me until I woke up that today was the first day of AUGUST!!

Anyhoo, I decided I needed to find people. I looked around and saw in the distance that there was a huge field behind my house and a large group of guys were playing football. They were not in uniform/pads but I could tell a serious game was going on.

I took large flying leaps towards the field and once, while in mid air, I looked back at my yard and saw the small white shapes of my dogs.. all three of them...

I landed near the edge of the field and I tried to talk to some of the guys but they ignored me.. they were so intent on playing their game.

I've never been a big football fan.. but I knew what I had to do. I walked down to the end of the field and saw that the quarterback had thrown a pass to a receiver at my end of the field. I ran full speed and intercepted the pass! I just took it inches from the receiver's grasp.

I twisted around and started to run towards the opposite end of the field. I dodged and leaped over players and spun away from tackles. I was freakin' unbelievable!!! I ran into the end zone for a touchdown!

I casually dropped the ball and walked over to one of the guys and said "I'm lost.. can you tell me where I am?" He just stood there kind of stunned and didn't say anything. The rest just stood there in shock.. staring.
