ive never thought of that, its actually a good idea. but what if they refuse to give you a phone number? or give you a fake number? lol |

I brought this up on a thread the other day and i decided now i am going to start taking dc's phone numbers cause if i ever want to see them again i can just phone them. I'm gonna have a contact page where i keep all my dc phone numbers, also helps people with poor dream control because u will expect them to answer when u phone them and if u arrange to meet them some place u will expect them to be there. |

Good luck waking up and remembering their phone numbers. |

I can be a Lucid Master... In my dreams.
DILDs: 6

I brought one of my dream characters back out with me this morning. He's tied up in the corner of my room; and he doesn't look happy! |
|
That's brilliant I think. But I agree with Cutterkk. It would be hard to remember the numbers. Just store it in your dream cell phone and all you have to remember is their name. |

I don't think the dream cell phone would work because i doubt very much the numbers will store in ur phone and stay in there exactly as u stored them (plus numbers in dreams change when u look back at them. U should remember the numbers fine as long as u have decent recall (best take one person's number at a time though) and if they don't give u their number well i guess u could always do what TalkingHead done and tie them up in the corner of ur room and force them to give u their number, and as for them giving u a fake number there's no such thing as a real or fake number it's a dream. (it's all about believing it's that dc's number ur receiving) |
|
Why not just remember the DC and concentrate on them. |
|
I'm going to do this. I'm also going to call the number in waking life. Just to see what will happen. |

How I discover what my dreams are about
In my last lucid dream I made pink sparks between my palms. I was trying to make a white ball of energy...
"Hey, welcome to Playboy, you want Man Sex?" Lol, so that's just a warning of what that guy might say back |

Wouldn't it be creepy if you actually got a working number, and the person had the same dream as you? |

That's why I'll call. Not that I believe it would happen, but a man can dream right? :p |

Isn't this just a trick to bring a dc back? DC's don't really have numbers, c'mon. Does it really matter if the number is the same? As long as you believe it is the same when you look it up on your phone, shouldn't it work? Now, if you want to try to call the number when you wake up... hm. What about area codes, or country codes for that matter! That's alot of numbers to try to remember. The human brain can hold onto a series of seven numbers at a time, but beyond that it takes more repetition to memorize. Hope your dc's are all local! ha ha |

No it doesn't really matter much if the number is the same but it might put a doubt in your mind which will therefore decrease the chance of that person answering the phone if the number is different. |
|
I once phoned a DC and they actually picked up, but apparently they were to busy to come over. My lucid self is pathetic haha! |
|
Can you hear me now?...Can you hear me now?...Can you hear me now?......... |
|
It can't work because of that system that you use for RCs: You look at your clock and look away, if you look at it again, the numbers have changed because the part of the brain that's responsable for such stuff isn't working when you dream. So everytime you look at their phone number in the drea, it will have changed. |
|
It can work, if the DC just tells you the number and you remember it. The tricky part will be the remembering. |

I kind of said that in one of my reply's Uberschall. Yes 1342576 the tricky part will be remembering but i remember numbers well so i think it should work for me. Have a pad and pen near ur bed and write it immediately after waking. |
|
I believe this would be a fun idea to try out, though I doubt it would be more effective than summoning the character again. Rather, I'd be interested to hear who picks up the phone and how lucid phone calls may differ from regular ones. |

Didn't work for me. |
