I think i recently had a lucid dream but then again i can be wrong. In the beginning of the dream i felt as if i had no control. I just went with the flow of the dream without being able to question the situation. In this dream i was at a mansion with a beautiful girl, and i remember telling myself to kiss this girl and i felt as if i was in full control and stood up and walked over to her and began kissing her. I began talkin to this dreamgirl and i felt like i had normal thought. The dream was quite long but when i woke up i totally forgot the rest of this dream. Could I have had a lucid dream and just forgotten it? |

I guess it has been said a million times - the quickest and surest way to improve dream recall is to keep a dream journal, and to challenge yourself each morning to put down as much as you can remember (including what was perceived by all five senses, not just sight). I know from experience that when I slack on the journal, I can go months without remembering anything, but maybe a week of journaling later I find myself writing down dream after dream after dream, remembering them while writing down another dream. Good luck, though! |

Control does not have to be present to be Lucid. Did you at any point in the dream think “I’m Dreaming” in so many words? Being aware as you are now while the dream is taking place is being lucid without total control. Actually the act of not taking control can be controlling in itself. But it is not what constitutes a LD. |
