      Lucid Dream Experiment

Hey everyone. I'm new to this forum and just wanted to thank everyone. Ive been reading stuff on here for the past few weeks and it's inspired me to start trying to have LDs. That's why I started my lucid dream experiment.

You can check out my experiment at my website, www.SparkedBlog.com

I'd really appreciate some help from anyone that is experienced in WILD, my first method I'm trying out. Please reply or IM me (SPaMx182 on AIM) if you can help me.

      Thanks again everyone.

Hey there, welcome to the forum!

Doing a blog of your experiements sounds pretty interesting, I'll be sure to follow it. One word of warning though, WILD is an incredibly difficult technique and might not be the best method to try out first.

      Hey SPaMx182 and welcome

This sounds like a very cool idea and i can definately see things progressing if you keep at it, but i'm going to agree with Alex on this once, WILD is known to be a difficult technique and can be very hard for some. But don't let it stop you trying, but bare in mind that if you don't suceed its not the end of the world, there are plenty of techniques to try out, best of luck to you!

Agreed. WILD can be tough but there are so many other great methods.

Uhoh...Well I have had some progress with WILD so far, I think...The first time I experienced a Hypnic Jerk, and the 2nd time I started to feel the vibrations decribed in the tutorial I read...Is it still a long way from there?

Don't get discouraged from the above. To some people WILD is incredibly easy, and i'd say you got pretty far. Next time let them flow.

Well, hello SPaMx182! i haven't been active on this forum for some time now, dosn't meen I have stopped dreeming thought . So, wild is my personal favorite as it seems to be the surest way to induce a lucid dream. And, it isn't as hard as it seems either, I think of it a little bit like catching a train, you lie there and wait, thinking of nothing in perticular and then at some time you choose to focus on some point in your dream like for instance; if you think about a person you can start focusing on his/her eyes. Then when you start thinking about teh dream it self and that you are dreaming, hopefully, you will not wake up. However there are some complications, first: The level of lucid dreaming seems to depend on how deep you have gotten in your sleep when you think about dreaming, this makes it hard to induce high-leveldreaming. Second: I've found it hard to make the dreams last for to long, this also seem to vary depending on how deep you've gotten, these are only my speculations but for me they seem to work. Also this method work's best if you are really tired, that way you fall asleap much faster wich seem to make things easier.
