Help me revive my Dream Guide

OK I didn't know other people actually had "dream guides", but when I was just learning how to LD years ago, my dream guide pretty much uh...guided me and taught me a lot about myself, LDing, and helped me through all kinds of problems, shared dreams with me. Pretty much it was the only consistent character in my dream world and I felt I had a sort of transcendental connection with it, as if it were my subconscious itself that I was communicating with. My dream guide was the #1 reason I enjoyed LDing. Recently my dream guide died in a non-lucid dream and now whenever I want to see, or summon, my dream-guide, whether in an LD or a non-LD I come to a tombstone. I may try several techniques to control my LD but they won't bring back my dream guide. I'm just wondering, has anyone else had this problem before? I feel silly saying it but I'm actually really saddened from this. It's like I lost connection to a very important part of me. Any ideas on how to bring my DG back? Maybe I just need psychiatric help. lol :p Anyway, I have an LD almost every night so if you got any suggestions I can try them out and report back what happens usually the next night. thanks all please help me!

Hey there, my advice to you is fairly simple, try to be independant, maybe the Dream Guide dying was a sign that you are ready to do things by yourself. I'm just guessing there but if i'm not right then you could maybe when your next lucid picture your dream guide there in front of you as like a ghost and then wish him into existence again, or you could just ask his ghost for guidance, i wish i could offer you more help but i don't know much about dream guides since i don't have one.

Dig up your Dream Guides body, and if he is not there, it is a sign he is playing with you, or, if he is there, go to a "Pet Cemetary" and bury his corpse in there.

I tried digging last night in a semi-lucid dream. For some reason the dirt would keep welling up so digging with my bare hands was getting me nowhere like usual. Instead, I just "dematerialized" so to speak and went underground. For some reason I could still see. I saw a note and some trinkets rather than a body. Some coins, a small statue of me and others, a parachute, her clothes folded up (she always wore purple and white). I couldn't reach the note to read it. The weird thing is, the parachute is related to my dream of how she died, we both fell from the sky down to earth but she didn't revive like I did. I finally think I'm getting somewhere. I'll try reading the note, if anyone's got more suggestions or for some reason wants to know my progress for some reason, just post here.

Perhaps it's a test and finding her will require you to use lucidity to its fullest.

Hmm, I was thinking...try screaming her name as loud as you can whilst underground, summon her underground, ask "What are you trying to tell me", but ask out loud and loudly
