Hola there!
Congrats on your lucid dream.
To answer your questions:
1. Making things appear out of thin air is hard for me. I usually try to make them appear just out of sight (the next room, just around the corner, behind me), and then just go to them. So i'd tell myself I'd meet this or that person in the next room, and then once I'm confident that he or she'll be there (sometimes I even call out first and see if I get an answer), I'll walk in.
Having things sort of poof out of thin air, I think, is hard for my mind to accept. We are so indoctrinated that such a thing 'cannot happen' in our waking life, that for it to happen, even in a dream, is a fairly large suspension of disbelief. That said, if you really believe it can happen, and are confident that it will happen, it probably will. Its different for everyone.
2. What do I like to do in my lucid dreams? Well, it breaks down in two things: entertainment and experimentation. The first is easy, what are some of the things you'd like to do in waking life, but cannot? Fly? Fight? Eat a cake? Wrestle with a crocodile? Have sex with a beautiful man or woman? Etc etc.
The second is more about the lucidity itself. Things like trying to have a dream guide, things like trying methods to gain better control or extend my lucid dreams more. Lately I've been experimenting a lot with using portals (via doors or windows) to get in a totally different dreamscene of my chosing.
It is useful to tell yourself in advance what you'll be wanting to do before you go to bed, and repeat it like a suggestion to yourself. Sometimes in lucid dreams, unless you are fully 100% lucid, it can be hard to remember and you get dumbstruck, not really knowing what to do
3. Have more of them Seriously, the first lucid dreams tend to be of the kind you describe, but as you get more of them and get more used to them, you will find them starting to last longer, become more clear. Additionally, in lucid dreams there are techniques you can use. Some people use verbal commands like shouting: "Be more lucid now!", or sensory techniques such as foccusing on the dreamsensations. Above all though, my advise would be: don't let yourself get rushed, remain calm, don't worry about the dream ending or you having to do this or that before you're out of time. Taking a moment to ground yourself will go a long way towards helping you be more lucid.
Hope that helps!
