      Keep helping people..

I've noticed that every time I meet up with someone familiar in a lucid dream (a friend or family member) I feel compelled to help them out with lucid dreaming. I let them know that they're dreaming and trying to help them with the basics.

Does this happen to anyone else? I'd like to try and find a way around this because it's pretty much a waste of a lucid dream..

Hehe, that's never happened to me... Well I suppose that, if your lucid, you have control over your actions, right? Why not just not help them ?

Well to be honest, it's hard to explain. I'm lucid for the longevity of the dream, but I can never seem to resist helping out a friend in need in this situation. I guess you could say I'm half lucid : /

Well then your priority should be to get fully lucid, just like in any other dream where you "go with the flow". If you have the faintest idea that you're dreaming, try the typical rubbing your hands, telling yourself that you're dreaming...

I was sure I was fully lucid for at least one point in the dream. I was trying for a large portion of the dream to summon someone to have sex with - both of which I also seem to be having trouble with.

I think my problem is that when I do become lucid, I'm overcome with this huge anxiety that I need to get fun done before I wake up. I don't stop to concentrate on my surroundings or enhance the vividness of the dream. Sooooo maybe after a few minutes I fade back into a semi-lucid state where the dream is much more vivid than a normal dream but I lose conscious control of my intentions and actions.

      Just a thought..

Lol, this happens to me all the time, just look at my sig. When I catch myself doing it I just suddenly turn around and fly away. It's happening less everytime.
