Question Anyone been to the cinema?

I have been wondering what it would be like to go to the cinema in a lucid dream. What sort of films would be showing, what would the realism be like, how good would the films be, what would the names of the films be, the taste of the popcorn etc etc. I know when you can do anything you want this won't be at the top of your to do list but i think it would be interesting.

Anyone been to the lucid cinema?

I've been to a vivid non-lucid dream cinema, and I remember that the images were a bit cartoonish and very fast-paced.

I've been in cinema's in lucid dreams, though I paid little attention to what was actually playing on the screen (rather I was searching for a person there or trying to walk through the screen into a new dreamscene).

I have gotten plenty of cinema non-lucid dreams. They range from being absurd to being very movie like to being so immersive that I find myself 'in the movie' after watching it for a bit.

This reminds me of a lucid I had at around age 7. I was standing in the doorway to a movie theater, looking at the screen. Unfortunately I don't remember what was on the screen... but the theater was dark and filled to the brim with people.

I remember this lucid after so many years and without ever having written it down because suddenly these monsters started to run out of the screen and toward me! They were completely silent, like wraths. Everyone else was oblivious to their presence. I knew I was dreaming and tried to quickly wake myself up by blinking my eyes. This in turn induced several FAs to which the monsters followed me!

On a side note, it's funny how much less of a mystery lucid dreaming is when you're a kid.

I don't think i would do this, i'd much rather go to a real cinema to be honest.

However with all seriousness it would be pretty cool if i could go to a cinema and it was playing some cool film and i could walk through the screen into the film

I'm sure your experience will be a lot rosier.

Lucid Seeker, yeah that is something I really want to do - be a part of my favorite movie (or book). Give it a try!

I went to the cinema in a normal dream once.I didnt eat much popcorn but the movie was from the day before. A fight scene between me and and some guy i dont remember. All of the sound effects where wrong and cartoonish. Like "WHAM" "DISH" "SWHOOSH" and stuff the room was quite big, it was the main room of our biggest cinema. After the movie the chair ate me...witch was quite disturbing. lol

I was once in a dream theater and I too was far more concerned with other things in the dream than the screen. I do remember monkeys and dinosours on the screen though.
      “The Ninja Covenant”

I will vanish into the night,
change my body to wood or stone.

I will sink deep into the earth,
walk through walls and locked doors.

I will fly like a bird or become a fish and live underwater.

I will be killed many times,
      Yet I will not die.

I can change my face and become invisible,
and I'll walk among you, without being noticed.

I am a Ninja and my way is “Ninjutsu”
