Thread: really short dreams

so the other night i fell asleep at around 12:00am....i had a lucid dream then woke up at 12:58...i went right back to sleep and had a totally different lucid dream, then i woke up and it was still 12:58....a one minute dream..it was really wierd...then i went back to bed and had another lucid..haha
anyone get this sometimes?

I've had it a few times. What was the dream about? Was there actually something going on, or were you just standing there?

it was actually a real dream, it felt as long as the dream t hat lasted about an hour.

btw- i find it a lot easier to lucid when im really tired then if i drift off to sleep, when im really tired i just close my eyes and im already pretty much dreaming but when i drift i dont have as much control over what im thinking about...

Yes..

I can sleep for 5 minutes. and have dreams that last for years…
I can sleep (REM) for hours, and have dreams that last 5 minutes…


BTW: I think we dream in deep-sleep too!
