      So close...

I've only ever had one lucid dream, a DILD, and it wasn't the best, but still an awesome experience.

However this morning, I woke up, didn't feel like getting up so I kept drifting in and out of sleep. However one time, I sort of woke up, and heard someones voice, as if they were laying on the bed behind me. This happened to me one other time, and that time I FREAKED right out, but found I was paralyzed... SP I'm guessing . So I took a couple deep breaths, turned around and I was fine. However this time, I didn't freak out, and I took my couple breaths only to find... I was still in paralysis.

So I just accepted that, knowing it wouldn't affect me greatly. However, my ears started to ring at enormous volumes , and my whole body started to tingle, as if it had fallen asleep, and I figured out what was going on. So I did my best to concentrate on not falling back asleep, and that worked well. There was a moment when I felt like I should have just tried to get up and walk around, and I tried but it didn't work to well. My vision was all weird. So, un-logically, I turned around to see who really was behind me, only to wake myself up in the process .

Yes that was very close, you shouldn't have tried moving for a few minutes and you would have probably had a deild. Yes that was sleep paralysis and anything that happened during that was completely natural, normal, and happens every time your about to dream, but most of the time your unconscious. The tingling, ringing and nearly everything that made you uncomfortable was so that your brain could make sure your body was asleep, so if you ignore them you will just go into the dream.

      ^Probably

Aah, ok. I'll remember that next time, which hopefully there will be one. However, that was still one of the coolest experiences I've ever had . My boyfriend thought I was crazy and needed a doctor or something xD
