Your proudest lucid moments!

I can't get over how amazing my last lucid dream was where I overcame a really real fear of mine: mirrors! I pulled out my reflection (part of the task of the month) and then bravely lunged through the mirror to enter a new dream scene. I woke up feeling so incredibly accomplished... and that memory is still with me and it sort of helps to keep me motivated through some really difficult times in real life. So tell me, what have been your proudest lucid moments... the kind that leave you with a sense of accomplishment and elation upon waking! If you can't think of one, tell me something that you would like to do. And it has to be something substantial and meaningful... (i.e. sex with as many DCs as possible doesn't count! )

That's beautiful. I've done something similar... looked and felt amazing but didn't last quite that long. And yes being lucid for the first time is definitely something to be proud of!!

I've had a lot of great lucid moments but I'd have to say my very first LD was probably my most proud. I was new to the idea yet, was able to have very good control and do a lot of things I preplanned to do: I was able to make the environment extremely vivid, have fairly controlled flight, sex (twice, though I omit the first encounter in my DJ), converse with DCs, read text and examine how it changed, will environmental changes, and think very clearly. I still feel it was one of my most controlled dreams to date, and that was over 6 years ago. Second place may be the first time I faced a threatening monster, knowing that facing my fear would make it go away. If I ever manage to fulfil my ongoing quest - as mentioned too many times in my DJ - then that will definitely be my proudest lucid moment because I've tried so many times and so hard to do it over a nine month period so far. Believe it or not, when I read that dream in the lucid task section I did one of those things where you ball your fist, bend your arm, clench you teeth, shake your fist once and say "YES!" (if you know what I'm talking about). Something about your doing that really made me happy for you.

Sadly, no. My LDs since then have been questionable and lasted less than a minute. But it's fine, because i WILL have another tonight

Well, when I was young I had some really amazing lucid dreams. I could do anything in them, anything at all. It was wonderful. They're actually what inspired me to try and have some lucid dreams again....anyway. I'm definitley proud of them. The proudest moment of them is when I created my own country with me as ruler. It had it's own people, religion, etc... and I summouned up a huge, fully formed palace to go with it. It was fantastic.

Well let me think... I remember it pretty well usually, it was really happy moment for me - plus I have a dream diary from then, saved the page....when I woke up it seemed like a normal dream. Not especially long or short, but I remember feeling as though it was quite long, but when I woke up it was sort of condensed. It was a pretty weird feeling. I had pretty bad recall then, though.

I think it would have to be either my first WILD, since I managed to do it at my first attempt or the first time I flew, the dream lasted for so long, it was great! One of the longest and most vivid lucid dreams I have had

I made the sun rise this morning, I thought it was pretty awesome It was the first time that I was actually in control of my environment.

I was bullied for about fifteen years. I occasionally dream about groups of people making fun of me, laughing at me. My proudest lucid moment will be when I confront those DC's and sincerely feel love for them. Chapter 10: Overcoming Nightmares from Exploring The World Of Lucid Dreaming gave me this idea. I know it would be a great accomplishment, but when I'm lucid I'm still afraid of seeking out my demons. So I go fly or something, which is fun, but not my long term goal.

The military conquered my college and killed half of my classmates, but eventually, me and my dad managed to escape and I ended up killing the evil emperor. Everyone I knew celebrated and congratulated me. Freedom, at last.
