wasting my LD's convincing DCs its a dream

ive been having maybe 2 LD's for a month and i love them. They last about 5-10 minutes with total lucidity. The thing that sucks is i seem to spend most of the time trying to convince DCs that its a dream lol. Its fun and all, making things levitate in front of them and watching the looks on their faces, but i could be doing other things haha. So i want to know, how come even though i always tell my self i will do other things in my next lucid, i still try and convince the DCs? I should just forget about the DCs and go do some crazy shit.
      am i dreaming?

Perhaps you are determined to prove to a dream character that it is a dream. I also tell myself i will do something in a lucid but when i become lucid i forget about it.

its pretty easy to convince them. some of them dont believe me, but most do.

thats what happens though, ill go to bed trying to think of things to do in the LD, but when i get in the LD, i totally forget.

last night was my first night saying "increase vividness!!!!!!!!" out loud in a dream though, and it worked. Ive been trying to remember to do that in a dream and finally did, so maybe im getting better.

It's not so easy to convince them in my lucids, they go crazy mostly when i tell them they are dream characters.

Whether you remember or not also depends on your level of lucidity.

Try to only think of ONE thing to do when you become lucid. Instead of saying "When I become lucid, I want to do this, this, and this" say "When I become lucid, I want to do this."

It really worked for me, and if the one thing that you do helps increase your awareness, you can do other fun things.
